HOW TO GET COMPS IIN A LAS VEGAS CASINO?

Do you wonder how some people manage to get free meals, shows even rooms in Las Vegas? “Comps” mean complimentary items or services given by the casinos to players. It may be surprising that they are easy to get.

Determine the bankroll before you go to a casino. If you limit your play mostly to a certain casino, you will get to earn points faster and will be more likely to get good comps. The casino’s newsletter will inform you of special giveaways, cheap hotels and other goodies. Then get a player’s club card for yourself at that casino and use it every time you gamble. When you put your card into a machine or hand it to a dealer, the casino tracks your level of play. casinos are interested in how much you are betting per hand and how long you play each day. Any play below $25 a hand won’t be tracked for comps. If you play only at machines, it calculates your comp points as you play. Calculate what approximate value of comps you had earned at table games before you ask for them. Most casinos give between $96 and $192 worth of comps if you ask. Reimburse your comp points at any player’s club desk. Do ask for the casino host. They are the ones to give out the big comps, including food, services and rooms…only if your play warrants it. Try staying at the casino you play at. At the end of your stay, ask the casino host if he can ‘comp’ some of the charges. Contact your host or the players club before your next trip. Maybe they can offer a discounted room or other comps.

You’ll most likely gamble at different casinos. But don’t start into believing that you’ll need different player’s cards at each casino. In Las Vegas especially, the same player’s card is often connected with several casinos. Concentrate you’re wagering to those casinos and you’ll be rewarded!
